Definition:![]() | A Primary Health Network (PHN) is an administrative health region established to facilitate access to primary care services for patients, as well as co-ordinate with local hospitals in order to improve the overall operational efficiency of the network. PHN organisations commission services and work directly with general practices (GPs) and other health care providers including hospitals and the broader community to ensure improved outcomes for patients across their region.
